Steps help facilitate the relationship between mentees and mentors and provide guidance for what's next in the program.
Overview
Program Steps allow you to guide participants through key actions in their mentoring journey. You can set up steps that appear instantly, on a schedule, or based on specific user activities (called triggers).
This article explains how to create, edit, and manage your program steps.

What Are “Viewer Types”?
-
Everyone: Step is visible to all participants, regardless of whether they are mentors or mentees.
-
Mentees: Step will only be visible to mentees.
-
Mentors: Step will only be visible to mentors.
What Are “Publish Types”?
-
Instant: The step is published immediately once you click Submit.
-
Scheduled: Choose a specific date and time for when the step should be published.
-
Trigger: The step will be published after a participant completes a specific action (for example, first match, first meeting, or first message sent).
-
You can also set a delay for how long after the action the step should appear.
-
When using the Trigger publish type, you’ll also see the Prior Activity toggle. This determines whether the step should apply only to future trigger activities or also to participants who have already completed the action.

What Is the “Action Type”?
