How to connect Oracle Fusion Cloud with Qooper?
Overview
Connecting Oracle to Qooper is as easy as 1-2-3: Once credentials are prepared and connection details are shared, your data begins syncing automatically. With accurate Oracle data flowing into Qooper, you’re ready to launch mentoring, learning, and development programs with the right people at the right time.
Benefits of Integrating with Qooper
-
Automated Data Sync: User and organizational data stored in Oracle sync to Qooper on a Daily or Weekly schedule.
-
Streamlined Onboarding: New users added in Oracle can be created in Qooper automatically, reducing manual entry and errors.
-
Zero-touch Updates: When users change or are removed in Oracle, their Qooper profiles update automatically.
-
Security and Compliance: The integration uses secure authentication methods to ensure your data is protected.
To start taking advantage of these benefits, the first step is to prepare your credentials in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
(1) Prepare Your Credentials 👤
Before connecting to Qooper, you need to prepare your authentication credentials with the appropriate access.
Using a dedicated integration setup ensures:
- Integration access is controlled and auditable
- Production users are not impacted
- Access is limited to what the integration needs
(1a) Choose Your Authentication Method
Oracle Fusion Cloud supports the following authentication methods:
Basic Authentication
- Username
- Password
JWT Token Authentication
- Issuer
- Username
- Private key
- Certificate fingerprint
(1b) Assign Permissions
Ensure the Oracle Fusion Cloud user has appropriate access.
Qooper requires access to:
- Worker / Employee data
- Employment records
- Job titles and departments
- Status fields
(1c) Data Access Scope
Qooper integrates with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM REST APIs (such as the Workers resource and its related child resources like assignments and emails) to retrieve employee and organizational data.
Typical API patterns include:
/hcmRestApi/resources/latest/workers– Employee profiles/hcmRestApi/resources/latest/workers/{id}/child/assignments– Job, department, and organizational data/hcmRestApi/resources/latest/workers/{id}/child/emails– Contact details
Additional resources such as /departments, /jobs, and /locations may also be used depending on your data mappings and integration requirements.
In some cases, related data may be retrieved using query parameters (such as expand) rather than separate child endpoints.
Note: Actual endpoints, fields, and access patterns may vary depending on your Oracle configuration, security roles, and API version.
(2) Connect with Your Credentials 🔑
After preparing your credentials, provide the following Oracle Fusion Cloud connection details to Qooper via email:
- Subdomain
- Authentication type (Basic or JWT)
For Basic Authentication:
- Username

(3) Qooper Team Will Complete the Integration
The Qooper team will:
- Establish and test the Oracle Fusion Cloud connection
- Map Oracle fields to Qooper (ID, Email, Job, Department, Manager, etc.)
- Perform data validation and test syncs
- Activate your scheduled automation (Daily/Weekly)
