How to connect HiBob with Qooper?
Overview
Connecting HiBob to Qooper is as easy as 1-2-3: Once your service user credentials are generated and shared with us, your employee data begins syncing automatically. With accurate HiBob data flowing into Qooper, you’re ready to launch mentoring, learning, and development programs with the right people at the right time.
Benefits of Integrating with Qooper
- Automated Data Sync: Employee demographics, job details, manager relationships, and status updates in HiBob automatically sync to Qooper on a Daily or Weekly schedule.
- Streamlined Onboarding: New hires added in HiBob are created in Qooper automatically, reducing manual entry and administrative overhead.
- Zero-touch Termination: When employees become inactive or are terminated in HiBob, their Qooper accounts update automatically.
- Security and Compliance: The integration uses secure API-based authentication with dedicated service user credentials to ensure your data remains protected.
To start taking advantage of these benefits, the first step is to generate your HiBob service user credentials.
(1) Create Service User Credentials in HiBob 👤
Before connecting to Qooper, you need to create a dedicated service user in HiBob and generate secure API credentials.
Using service user credentials ensures:
- Integration actions are securely authenticated
- Access is restricted to approved integrations
- Employee data is securely transmitted between systems

From your HiBob Admin Portal:
- Click Bob products > System settings.
- Select Integrations from the side navigation menu.
- Use the All categories dropdown and select Automation.
- Navigate to the Service users section and click Manage.
- Click + New service user.
- Enter a Display name and optionally provide a description.
- Click Next.
- Copy and securely save the following credentials:
- Service User ID
- Service User Token
These credentials will be required for the Qooper integration setup.
(1b) Assign Permissions
After creating the service user:
- Go to Permissions > Permission groups.
- Create a permission group for the service user.
- Assign the permission group to the service user.
- Follow HiBob’s documentation to configure the required permissions.
Qooper typically requires access to:
- Employee profile information
- Employment and job details
- Organizational structure and departments
- Manager relationships
- Employee contact information
Note: You must be a HiBob Admin or have permissions to create and manage integrations and service users.
HiBob Admin Access:
If you do not have direct admin access, ask your HiBob administrator to generate the credentials for you.
(2) Connect with Your Credentials 🔑
After generating your HiBob credentials, provide the following information to Qooper via email so we can complete your integration:
- Service User ID
- Service User Token
- Environment (Sandbox or Production, if applicable)
- Partner Token (only required for HiBob partner accounts)
You can obtain the Partner Token from your Partner Stack account under:
HiBob Program > My Profile > Partner Token
(3) Qooper Team Will Complete the Integration
The Qooper team will:
- Connect securely to HiBob using the provided credentials
- Map your HiBob fields to Qooper (Employee ID, Department, Manager, Job Title, etc.)
